HBA Remuneration Facilities
Company (RFC) is a company that specialises in providing expert advice to
clients on providing their key management and staff with merit-based reward
incentives that may be structured to ensure that the maximum benefit is passed
to those who ensure the success of the business in tax efficient ways.
The RFC works with
professional Tax advisers and Fiduciary Service providers in order to ensure
that the structures comply with current Tax legislation in the jurisdiction in
which the business is based and may be structured in an appropriate offshore
structure. By so doing we are usually able to recommend structures that offer
substantial savings from tax on the sums budgeted for such merit-based incentive
payments, thereby ensuring the maximum benefit to those involved.
We offer a full service
provision from advising on appropriate incentive models, to managing the
establishment of the offshore structures once our advice has been accepted and
finally to ensuring that the structures meet their Fiduciary obligations in
generating the incentive to the employees.
Our service involves a close
working relationship with clients, an understanding of their business and their
overall intentions in offering merit-based reward incentives to their key
players. We then advise on effective structures and approaches to meet current
intentions and recommend longer-term incentives that might be established in the
future. Generally, such relationships will endure for a number of years, which
enables such incentives to be structured to ensure future and ongoing
incentivised performance.
Recommendations for incentivised reward schemes will take into account the objectives of the
company, the budget allocated and the desires of the recipients. In this way
structures can be established that ensure an appropriate type of reward for each
individual – not all of whom will be simply motivated by money!
Consequently, we devise and
implement individual reward packages for Employees, which may include bonus
payments, the provision of assets including company vehicles, loans, health
insurance, approved and unapproved share incentive and option schemes and other
benefits as the RFC may in its absolute discretion determine.
Our service is advisory and facilitatory. Once the client has accepted our proposals we will ensure that
the structures are established as agreed and that the employees obtain their
reward. At no time does the RFC hold client funds, these being allocated
directly to the structures once established.
Fees are charged as a percentage of the budget to be distributed with a minimum
charge level set; the actual percentage charged will reflect the size of the
budget and will be agreed with the client in the light of the budget and client
relationship. Companies envisaging use of the service would typically be
seeking to distribute at least £300,000 in a year; no ceiling applies.
