Influencing,
Persuading and Employing Effective Business Behaviours in the Workplace
We all need to
influence and persuade people around to our view from time to time and
nowhere more so than in the workplace. We also need to be able to assert our
rights in such a way that respects and allows the rights of others.
This one day course will
help to equip participants with the skills they need to influence others at
work to gain their commitment to plans and projects in order to achieve
improved business results. It will help delegates develop upward and
downward communication management techniques that work and enhance their
effectiveness and confidence in workplace situations.

in the workplace; assertiveness, aggression, passivity and how these impact
our ability to influence and persuade

verbal behaviours and body language – a method of influencing the outcomes
of business meetings and other professional interactions

situations

Recognising and handling stress

The reasoned argument and the use of impactual
presentation techniques to influence the outcome of a choice of options

Solution seeking vs. advocacy

How decision making processes can be
improved to provide more detailed and clearer decisions
