Directors and Senior
Managers Survey and General Survey
These reports are produced annually for Jersey, Guernsey, and the Isle
of Man. We publish the Directors and Senior Managers Survey each July
and the General Survey from Clerical up to Senior Manger level
each September.
These reports contain data
on a significant range of jobs from a large number of participating
organisations, which enables us to produce extremely robust and
meaningful reports complete with relevant factual and topical
information on each jurisdiction's economy and the issues which may
impact on recruitment and selection or reward.
As a result
of the methodology we adopt in evaluating 'roles and responsibilities' for the
Directors and Senior Managers Survey and the comprehensive of a job matching
booklet for the General Survey, the reports provide valuable market
information in a user friendly format, to ensure that participating
organisations can take strategic decisions on their reward policies in
order to attract, recruit and retain the best people for their business.

Non Executive Director Survey (NED)
The growing demands of effective corporate governance and the
ever-increasing prominence on the role of the NED is increasingly
recognised as part of the value-creation process within successful
businesses. The requirements for independence and transparency
necessitate the appointment of high quality professionals from a wide
variety of backgrounds to NED roles, to enable Boards to balance the
correct blend of skills and experience, which will be appropriate and
complementary to the entity's activities.
The benefits to an
organisation from the input of the right NED are beyond doubt and in
order to attract high quality candidates, the level of remuneration
needs to reflect those key skills and experience in relation to the
level of involvement on the Board.
As a premier provider of

for NED's. We publish bi-annually a survey on NED appointments across the
Islands that cover fee rates, benefits, appointment basis, role and

As with all
our surveys, individual roles are not identifiable from the analysed data and the
data collected does not require disclosure of individual's names.
Bespoke Surveys:
HBA undertake a number of bespoke surveys that focus on particular parts
of the employment market or specific parts of the remuneration package.
These are commissioned by organisations that want specific data; the
benefit for participants in these surveys is that they will receive and
have the opportunity to share the data, usually at no cost to
